I am just using (started using) Inkscape for fun in weekends.
I never used a vector graphic software, nor downloaded a font. I never heard dafont site (and not used any other font sites).
As Inkscape has many "hidden" (or say in non-trivial locations for me) features, I thought maybe this font is hidden somewhere.
I think it is much more effective to ask "experienced" people in forums where somebody can answer in a split of a second (as in this case) instead of googling and going thru many sites (and yes I research many times).
Do anyone knows where can I get 8-bit digit numbers font?

I had this exact idea in and regret it because he seems simple too lazy. I mean seriously is his search engine broken?
