    I cannot get the Forum Search function to return anything but "no topics (or comments) found ..." for either a Topic Subject or Comment Text search.

    Same report for Inkcape 1.3.1 (downloaded today) on a Windows 11 Home machine or 1.2.2 on a Win 7 Home machine.

    I suspect this is a self-induced problem with how I am entering the search string or initiating the search as I have not gotten the Search function to return anything but No Topics Found...

    since the dark days (circa Inkscape 98.2) when it seemed generally acknowledged (on the Forum) that Search was broken.  ( today I am entering "preferred configuration" ,w/o the quotes,

    then pressing Enter and either Topic Subject or Comment Text).

    Is there an instruction page for how to use Forum Search or is it supposed to be intuitive?

    Same here too. Only reason I signed up was to point out that search is completely broken - "no results" for something as ubiquitous as "G-code", gcodetools, or a few other queries I tried. No results at all.

    Many have found G**gle site search to work quite well. 

    On the big picture, I'm glad the program bugs are prioritized over the web search bugs. My personal $0.02.

    Oh it's definitely broken and I spent way way too long banging my head against the keyboard trying to get it to work again. I don't even know why, as it was very hard to figure anything materially out.

    Please accept this message as an apology from the website administrator about the issue.
