Until March 2024 I use a Vevor cutter with an old laptop and Knoppix 9.3. After that I try a Black Cat Cutter with the laptop and OS. When I would use the Vevor in May 2024 again, Inkscape told me the cutter is not connected. Knoppix told me, it is.

Both cutters have a build in Adapter COM to USB, but different chips.

Could this done a conflict in Inkscape. If yes, how can I solve it?

With WIN 10 I can use the cutter. But I have not use the system with a Black Cat.

I know 3 or 4 different problems. First the OS does not contact with the cutter. Second the cutter is connected with the OS, but not with Inkscape. Third the OS and Inkscape are connected but the value in Inkscape are setting wrong. And if you have a Vevor or Black Cat cutter forth the values in Inkscape are OK, and the OS and Inkscape are connected, but the value setting in the cutter is wrong.
