Beyond the Basics SVG Font Editor won't let me edit!

    I don't know if this is a bug or my incompetence...it's likely me.

    I'm in the process of creating my own font.  This is the process.

    1.  While in gliphs, I click on the plus sign to create a new layer.
    2.  Click on edit
    3. Fill in the characters and name windows with letter name.
    4. Create letter
    5. Union the thing, then check the path before hitting get curves.
    6. Type new letter in 'preview text' window, looks great
    7. Repeat process.

    This process has worked every time, regardless of what else happens, my gliphs have/do shown/show up in the preview window...HOWEVER...

    I can't go back and edit anything.  If I click on a previous gliph and hit edit, nothing shows up on the template.  My A still works but none of the other 13 do.  I've tried locking/unlocking the layers, seeing/not seeing...

    I'm a complete newbie to Fonting, but not completely new to Inkscape...obviously still inept though.

    1. I have Windows 10 completely updated
    2. A brand new install of Inkscape...wiped everything else off my comp before reinstalling from website.
    3. I have a 2Tb hard drive and 32Gb RAM, Desktop PC

    Hi,

    The SVG font editor is not exactly intuitive ;)
    I also tried to use it by myself... It was a fail.

    Then I followed a tutorial on YT : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skv1Dj7232w

    Hope it will help you to identify a step you missed.
