I've downloaded the new inkscape version and I'm having this issue... The latest versions worked perfectly...
The message sent when I try to open an archieve by clicking on it said it isn't found libpoppler-84-dll.
I've downloaded the program twice and still failing. I've got windows 10 x64
I can open my archieves if right click open with inkscape... Is the only way it works

How did you install Inkscape? (msi, exe, zip, Windows store, self-compiled, 32bit / 64bit?)
Which version of Inkscape are you using (exactly, see Help > About)?
The problem was the previous version wasn't correctly uninstalled so I do it manually and It works perferct
