Hello. A topic arose on how to equally space objects around a circle.

Here is one possible way. In this example, I am wanting to place hour marks and minute marks around a clock-like circle.

    The key is Stitch Sub-Paths.

Enjoy and have a great day.

Thanks, everyone! I'm new to vector graphics, done a lot of CAD and Raster. I also found a couple of good vids on YT.

    Would you know why only the lines at the 12 o' clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock are slightly longer`

Well, I accidentally pressed enter so I am having to post another comment.

https://imgur.com/a/3LSw4v8 Here are what my lines look like. The black circle is a duplicate and is used for reference and is not part of the process. You can see that the longer lines are longer at the spots mentioned above but not anywhere else.

Why not use an extension for that? https://inkscape.org/~sincoon/★knob-scale-generator
