As a real newby to inkscape i am trying to convert a PNG image to an acceptable format EPS for submission to shutterstock. I m using the very latest version on Inkscape and current version of windows 11 with Chrome browser. Adobe Illistrator is out of the question. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If I understood correctly, you would have to vectorize the png file, in Inkscape. Can you post the image?
Bitmap images are supported within EPS, so it is up to the user what they want to provide to shutterstock.
