II was tracing this mountain and then accidentally closed the path. How can I open the path and continue. Please tell me there is a way.

It‘s not closed but a fill color is applied. What I don‘t get: why there are just 2 nodes visible? Please check Form is set to „none“ in the tool setting. To continue a line is possible: just hit the last node to highlight it and ad more nodes accordingly.

With the Pen tool, hover over one of those visible end nodes until it's highlighted. Click and drag to continue your curve.

Let's add that this way, you can mix pen tool and bezier tool : begin with one, switch (shortcuts b and p) and continue with the other.

Thanks, using the pen by itself worked.
