I import the SVG files in the web-program Canvas Workspace, then Wifi-transfer them to the Brother machine. With Canvas Workspace, for example, I can make the machine distinguish between cut-lines and trace-lines.
But I understand the PC-version of Canvas Workspace has more features than the website one; and it can use .cwpjf files, the usual format of web-published projects.
As I've not been able to make the PC-version run on my Linux machine, I'm looking for a substitute.
Is there an extension that can produce .fcm files for a Brother Scan N' Cut machine?
Additionally, I would like to be able to read .cwprj projects that can be found online.
Thanks for your answers.
I use SVG-files on an USB-stick for the Brother machine.
In this german topic https://inkscape.org/de/forums/Deutsch/svg-ausgabe-fur-brother-canvas-workspacemae-der-datei-stimmen-nicht/#c65179 there is a help.

Have a look at this video by one of the Inkscape developers.

It shows a workflow for cutting a project designed in Inkscape.
Not sure how relevant it is - might be helpful.
It was very interesting, thank you. And I discovered an Inkscape extension I'd never heard about.
Let me know if you need any specific advice about Scan n' Cut and Inkscape. Thanks for watching my video 😎
