    Hi all, first time on here so please be gentle with me , i am a complete novice around Inkscape..

    I am at the moment following the Inkscape Tutorial :Tracing Bitmaps..

    subject Brightness Cutoff, Edge Detection and Colour Quantization. is the tutorial suggesting we should use a combination of all these elements together or just pick one ?

    I am trying to find a method of producing good quality .svg files so i can use for engraving using  on my Brother Scan N cut machine .

    Any help would be appreciated, cheers Alan
