    Hello --

I recently had a project that sent me back again to using Inkscape, a few years after my last usage. In the interim my compute was updated to 2023 M2 Air that came with Ventura installed. I noticed your warning, due to discovered compatibility issues with GTK3 I might be out of luck. Some research into Ventura and general GTK3 compatibility suggested this issue had been resolved with recent update to MacOS from Apple. Optimistically, installed the current Inkscape 1.2.2 stable build DMG. My usage does not test all of the UI features in the application, however I can report that I had no issues including those described in the earlier discussions around GTK3 breakage etc.

Would encourage those contributors supporting MacOS to confirm these limited observations. And perhaps then remove what may now be an unnecessary "caution" warning.

    Best .. Ian

I used OpenCore to shoe-horn Ventura into my unsupported 2012 Macbook. Inkscape 1.3 Beta has been running without problems since its release. (To be more precise: no more problems than I had before). I'm sure the new release will run just as well.
