My name is Martin and I've been working on bug fixes for 1.3.1. This latest work will fix issues that crop up between now and the next point release and will hopefully make Inkscape more stable and have fewer regressions.
Many crash fixes went into this month's Bug Accelerator program. Some regarding Live Path Effects, others with general stability as issues have been reported. Bigger fixes in the PDF Font handling, margins and command line uses are also here:
- Fix bad bleed and margin issues !5620
- Deleting while cropping caused a crash which is now fixed in !5615
- macOS has a tofu problem, which is fixed in !5625 thanks to the users that helped test
- Invisible selection markers are now fixed in !5637
- Grid scaling issues when resizing are fixed in !4514
- Crashes when creating taper strokes are fixed in !5641
- Bad escaping of Line Feeds in plain SVG output fixed in !5663
- Crashing when editing the page size and label fixed in !5678
- Four issues fixed in one, loading and detecting font names in !5676
- Deleting nodes in live path effects fixed in !5713
- Overwriting filenames using the command line fixed in !5710
- Live path effect causing crash fixed in !5729
- Incorrect use of SPStyle caused gradients to disappear but fixed in !5727
- Highlight colour issues fixed in !5730
- Command line use of pages options documented correctly in for bug #4536
42.5 hours were used from the budget this month.
