Beginners' Questions text display problem

    Dear Forum
    I am working with a freshly installed version 1.4.
    The letters are not displayed properly. What could be the problem?

    It looks like there´s a stroke and no fill color applied to the Text object. Open the Fill and Stroke panel and adjust accordingly.
