Beginners' Questions Setting snap range

Where can I set snap ranges in Inkscape 1.2 / 1.3, please ?

I have been using 0.92 but cannot find the 'snap' tab to adjust the snap range in 1.2, or 1.3. The apparently fixed snap distance in these later versions is much greater than I would normally set, so large that I find snap action is often completely unusable, especially in the denser and more critical parts of a drawing.

I'd try adjusting the weight factor values in the  Preferences>Behavior>Snapping

Thanks for the suggestion Tyler. I've had a play with that now, but it doesn't really seem to help. Whatever the setting it seems that to break an incorrect snap I have to drag back a physical screen distance of 5mm or so - about 25 pixels on my screen - and that makes it very difficult to avoid it then deciding to glue itself to something else. And snap is really most useful for precision work, within a range of maybe 5 to 10 screen pixels; down to as close as I can reliably manouver with my mouse/trackerball.
