    Hey Hello,

I've got a problem with my outlines, not always but sometimes they simply get cutted off at the edge of the object boxes?!

It just came randomly, but it's truly annoying, it just works if I convert the lines to a separated object, but that cannot be the solution for me.

Would be cool if someone is able to help, thanks.

As I found out now, it disappeared as I tried to mark it with a arrow. with other words, as I added a line to the same layer.

Oh.. and it happened it different files before too, it's not the first time, just always randomly

If there a filter effect applied?  If so you might have to go into the filter editor and expand the bounding box of the filter.

No, I'm not using filters, masks or anything else like that in the whole file...

maybe it's just a bug in the file, but it happened way too often and it starts annoying. In the other cases I was able to convert it, but in this case it would be better if I could work with it.

it also happened in simple circles I used in the backgrounds with a thicker edge, all four sides were cutted off like this.

Can you share a svg file with the trouble?

It's truly interesting... if I reconstruct the part in another file it works without problems, but if I copy the other parts again in this files without the defekt object it happens again to the object which was ok before 🤔
    I'm really confused

The containing layer "hg" has a Gaussian filter applied.

You have a filter effect applied.  My original advice is applicable.  Gaussian Blur is a filter effect.

Oh wow.. Thank you so much :) I always hitted the blur effect accidentially, never thought it's handled as a filter, especially if I take it back to zero.
    It works fine now 👍

    Thanks again! :)

I posted the issue here: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/4196 and they said that there is a change for the filter area in the works. You may have accidentally added blur due to a scroll wheel issue they have fixed in git: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/4197
