I can't ungroup letters or numbers in Inscape. How do you fix this And I already created a path so that's not the problem. Also I won't all the tools up at the top.
You can use 'Split Path' to break text into individual characters (it's on the Path menu).
About the tools, are you in Widescreen view perhaps? Click the View menu and check if the 'Widescreen' box is ticked at the bottom.
