Hi to everyone! I'm working on a LaTex document and I have the need to modify images (.eps) before putting them in my document. Is there a way to import .eps images in Inkscape?
EPS files open and import ok on my machine: v 1.0.2 Linux Mint 19.
Hi,Are you using Windows?I think you need to have Ghostscript installed for importing eps files.
Thanks to everyone for your answers! @Kirstie I will follow your prompt.
Hi @g_don.24 .It is a bit difficult with adding paths to the systemvariables. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to ask here.
Ok @Kirstie. Can this procedure cause malfunctions in my operating system? Is it safe?
Ghostscript is safe. Installation notes are here: https://www.ghostscript.com/doc/Install.htm#Install_Windows.
The system variables should be set automatically on the first install. Editing the variables my be needed when GS is updated.
Is there an error message when trying to open an EPS file?
