Sounds like a run of the mill password reset issue. Which is easy enough to solve.
This forum is about Inkscape and it's use so questions about resetting passwords are not quite related to Inkscape directly. I notice the Inkscape chat is based on Rocket Chat so if my suggested solution does not solve your problem It may be easier to find and answer in the Rocket Chat forums
Keep in mind that in a world where you don't pay anything for software each person on this forum is paying you a kindness. And no one owes anyone anything. So expressing annoyance on a fringe topic is bound to get you less response from a forum which deals primarily with the use of Inkscape.
Here's how I'd suggest you solve this:
Try clicking on Forgot Password in the login screen.
Enter your email address
You'll get a password reset link in your email inbox (if such a user exists).
Click the link in the email
Set a new password
Save it somewhere safe.
If all else fails register a new username using a different email address.
it wont let me log in. im putting in my user and password right. but it say "User not found or incorrect password" its getting annoying
