Due to a shrinking upload allowance, I decided to clean up my profile.  I leafed through Home » Paddy_CAD » Resources and threw out lots of junk.  My upload limit rose so mission accomplished.  Happy Days!

I later discovered some broken links in my older forum comments.  Did I accidentally break these when I deleted some duplicates?  Some I tried to fix using "Search for Existing Resource" in the forum post dialog but the search function doesn't see my profile resources.

Can somebody explain the connection between forum uploads, my account uploads and my galleries.  Do these all refer back to the same database?  Is there a way to filter for "active" files used in forums and galleries?  How do I link to a file previously uploaded by me or someone else.  How do I change the link?  Am I asking too many questions?

I took forward to your replies.  Those dead links are embarrassing.

DoctorMo can provide access to more storage.

Unpublished files can be found by the user via the user profile, right-hand navigation.

Changing links can be done by editing posts, DoctorMO can provide edit permission.

Searches are tricky, or I'm not very good at it.
