I am a newbie with an xtool D1 Pro laser cutter and am mostly interested in designing tabbed boxes. I have found a few tabbed box extensions but am having trouble finding one that is compatible with v1.3. Anyone have suggestions or can point me to an extension that will work with the current version?

Is 1.3 production ready? This one works here in Inkscape1.2.2: https://inkscape.org/~Neon22/★lasercut-tabbed-box

Can´t tell anything about the output though:

@Haleybelinda, I'd upgrade Inkscape to version 1.3.2, then reset the preferences.

Years ago I wrote this web app for designing laser-cut boxes that use elastic clips that 'snap' closed without needing any fastenings or glue:

    https://climbers.net/sbc/make-laser-cut-case-elastic-clips/

The webpage generates an SVG file that you can load into Inkscape and then laser cut.
