I have just downloaded the new version and have been trying out features but cannot get any of the offsets to work in the way I expected. I activate say dynamic offset I see the little node move it outwards but all that seems to happen is the object gets larger.
The effect which I am trying to get is say circle activate offset move out and see circle with an outside ring

you probably want to use LPE offset .. and if i get exactly what you want two want to duplicate your path first and put in under original shape
