I'm new to the forum so thought I would say hello! I also have a question so I hope this is the right place to ask. I have recently upgraded my Mac to Ventura (OS 13) and have downloaded the latest version of Inkscape. It works fine in the main but I've noticed that there are some tools which aren't working. When I try to change the stroke style to a dashed pattern, it doesn't allow me to click an option with my mouse cursor but will if I use the directional keys on the keyboard. However, even though a dash pattern is selected, it doesn't show on the line. Is this a problem with Inkscape and the newer OS?
I use Catalina (v 10.15) and I can't reproduce your problem with dashed strokes and broken drawing tools. Sorry I can't help. You'll get a better response posting under "Beginners' Questions" and a more descriptive title.
