Nice to meet you here. I had fun reading your article about Graphic Design Applications! You really made some statements there about the reasons why people use GNU software for graphic design, especially the one about the kid.
Thanks to all, to be precise I am not going to write an article on Inkscape but rather a guide on how to build a portfolio with it, trying to overcome all the limits that Inkscape has about pages management.
The fact is that Scribus has so many quirks and, with the very few spare time I have, I spent all the time handling with these small bugs rather than focus on the content, and I got tired and decided to change strategy.
I'm assuming this is where new users post the first message. I just created an account a few minutes ago and I thought it appropriate for me to make an introductory post. I have been using Inkscape occasionally over the past four years mainly for designing custom document templates and seed packets, but I'm hoping to learn enough about the program to develop paleographic fonts in conjunction with Font Forge.
Hi Ryan, Welcome here! It is always nice to see new faces on the forum. It is exciting to see what creative things you make or want to know more about. 👋
Hi there,
this is my first time here but I have been a long time user of Inkscape, I am also a Tavmjong Bah patreon.
I have also a blog (do not worry, not trackers, not advertisment, anything) but I don't have much time to dedicate to it:

However I am planning to write a great article on Inkscape and this is one of the reason I am here...
Hi Gnuser Land. Welcome to the forum. I'll try to check out your blog later, when not on my phone, lol. Good luck on your article.
Welcome to the forum!
