My Inkscape got auto-updated from 1.0.2 through PPA in Ubuntu 20.04. 1.0.2 use to crash a bit. But once 1.1 was available, crashing reduced a lot.
Recently 1.1 is crashing a lot too. Perhaps more than 1.0.2 frequency. During the last 2 days, it crashes as it opens. ie, it shows the crash dialogue first then the UI.
I know that Inkscape has some crashing related problems and I am used to it. But recently I literally have to start Inkscape twice and deal with the error message.
If there is anything we can do to make the crashing less, I would be delighted to try. Thanks.

This is common also for some Inkscape distributions for Windows. The Microsoft Store version was auto-updated from 1.0.2 to 1.1 yesterday. The PortableApps.com platform is also offering updates when new versions are available.

I am using Linux ( Ubuntu 20.04 ) and I got 1.1 without doing anything (I was on 1.0.2). I use a PPA.
