Beyond the Basics inkscape versions 1.2- 1.4 showing menubar twice (ubuntu)

    In ubuntu 24.04 and 24.10 versions 1.2 to 1.4 of Inkscape (installed with ppa) are showing the main menubar twice.

    Did anyone encounter this, and found a workaround ? Did not find a known issue related. Not sure it's an Inkscape Bug or gtk - reinstalled gtk, with no change. Only Inkscape has this issue on my system.

    I've not seen or heard of this behavior before.

    I did see that you have filed a bug report. Well done.

     

    If anyone else is experiencing this issue, please contribute to the report.
