Beyond the Basics Feature request: Stroke alignment setting

    It would be nice if one could specify:

    • Stroke is outside the objects border
    • Stroke is inside the objects border
    • Stroke s centered on the objects border

    You can't do this because the stroke (or more correctly the path) is the object border, but Here's something that might work for you. Open the Fill and Stroke dialog [shift+ctrl+f] and go to the [Stroke style] tab. There are several options for [Order: xxxx] where you can choose to place fill above stroke or stroke above fill.

    Stroke is a paint property applied to the geometry as per the SVG specification, which currently does not support position inside/outside center. Position is under consideration.
