I searched the web and saw that way back in 2012 (I think) this was being worked on, code written. I wasn't sure if it would be a big deal or not without them but it is. Perhaps for simple projects like logos where there's not many objects it's not a big deal but for anything remotely complex it's one of the reasons I can't use it as it slows me down too much.
