I had some linked images in this file but now I only have red circles with crosses. I'm fairly sure that the images haven't been moved.
Before when this has happened I could go to the object properties and change the file path to the image, but that field seems to be gone?
I don't remember the relative path of linked images can be accessed using object's properties panel. You can access to the relative path of linked images via xml editor (xlink:href attribute).
Take a look in xml editor to see what's going on.
