For my first submission I need to say, family is important. Witnessing the murder of Ravens ravishing a wild berry tree a couple years ago has truly pushed me as a vector artist to be better than those flocking crows. Extremely happy with Inkscape's development. The development of Inkscape has been killing it lately like a murder of crows.
Also, removing the blur filters and the nodes on the tree have reduce the size of this svg file.
This artwork is my quick observation of the Celtic knots. Breaking and tying themselves together to form something strong and beautiful. There's a story to this art and I leave it up to the viewer to form it.

You have 2 change to make;
1. Remove unused shapes outside of template area.
2. Reduce area of blurred shapes.
You have a very large area of blurred object/s outside the template area. This will impact how fast the image loads within Inkscape.
Consider using a flat grey gradient for background, and only blur the lighter areas... Or maybe just create a gradient to mimic the same effect?

Along with your suggestions Tim Jones, I also reduced the nodes on the branches of the tree to cut the file size down.
