This chapter might be in three parts. I'm focusing on how to use the Gradient Mesh tool and the way I'm going about learning it requires a lot of step-by-step figuring out what I'm doing wrong, using Ctrl-Z to undo, and then ploughing onward to, hopefully, greater, more satisfying accomplishments.
My laptop is also dying, courtesy of a bad power connection. The result is that I will not be posting for a week or more until I get it repaired.
I hope that all who use this tutorial will find it useful and helpful in their endeavors to learn Inkscape. If you need or want to contact me, I am surprisingly easy to find on the Internet. Just Google "Inkscape Roy" and go from there.
