Beginners' Questions When I export an SVG file, it becomes completely black.

First, import the AI file created in Adobe Illustrator into inkscape.
I selected the objects I wanted to export and exported them as SVG, but no matter which object I exported, it turned out to be a completely black image.
Even if I copy the object in the ai file, paste it onto a newly created canvas, and then export it as SVG, it becomes completely black.
If you change the color of an object once, it will not turn completely black, but it is tedious to change the color of all the objects you want to export.
The problem only occurs with objects that are in the ai file, objects that I created myself can be exported successfully.
How can I also successfully export the objects in the ai file?
The SVG file with the problematic object pasted is attached to this topic.

The OS is Manjaro Linux, which I downloaded from the official repository.
    The version is Inkscape 1.3 (0e150ed6c4, 2023-07-21).

Hi. For some reason you are using clip on almost all objects, that's what the scissors icon means. Select everything and right click release clip. Several black rectangles will appear, remove them.

    sorry.
I tried exporting the SVG with all clips deleted, but the problem of the image becoming completely black was not resolved.

Could be you forgot to delete the clipping/masks objects?

There are no scissors marks on the layer, so all clipping has been removed.
As shown in the image above, the SVG became completely black even when there was only one object.

If the object was in a PDF file, it would not turn black even if it was exported as SVG.
I will stop using AI files and work with PDF files instead.

Don't forget "ai" is a proprietary file format from Adobe* while PDF as the name suggests a format for compatibility purposes.

I am a newbee in Inkscape. Since a week I am trying to solve this problem. Earlier I have used Illustrator but I eagerly want to shift to Inkscape. Please help and support me.

My problem is : I create design in multicolor in inkscape and exports it to .svg format. But as soon as I upload it my wordpress webiste (with svg support plugin) I find the design in only BLACK.

However when I use the same design in AI and export selected it displays the accurate color

Please guide me what is missing in my process. I'll be obliged.

I'd try saving a copy as "Plain SVG".

Feel free to share an example of each file type (Inkscape, and Ai). Files can be attached by clicking the paperclip button at the bottom of the reply area.

I am sending the three files.

inkspace.svg.svg is showing black only at my wordpress site.

But ai.svg (created by Illustrator) displays fine with all color at my wordpress site.

One more thing, all the two svgs shows colorfull in my desktop folder (windows 11).

Please guide me what to do with Inkscape! Regards.

It seems saving a copy as "optimized" svg is working.  Here are the settings I used:

    Inkscape 20250313061500
    Inkscape 20250313061526
    Inkscape 20250313061539

Dear Tyler Duren, will you please tell me where can I find this optimizer? Is it available with Inkscape 1,4 version?
