Hi Colin, I could be wrong, but according to your attachment, your image is so large that it exceeds the page. So what appears to be getting exported is what is on the page. I would reduce the size of the image, and then select it, and then do an export.
Wow okay so after much exhaustive detective work I have finally managed to figure out what the problem was. The colour that is disappearing when saving was listed as a 'HUE', and not 'NORMAL', in the 'Blend Mode' options in the Fill and Stroke Tab.

When selecting the entire image and exporting it I find that particular parts of it simply disappear everytime(??)
The first image shows you what it should look like, the second shows you how it exports...

I'll try that, thank you, althrough I did zoom in one of the images so you could see that details should be there. :)
I have just resized it and tried again but unfortuately the same thing keeps happening. :(
