Hello! I recently started using inkscape as a hobby and a encountered a weird resolution in the newest version of the program.
Everything is crammed up in the window and it's pretty hard to have a clear view of the canvas. This issue was not present in the 0.92 version (I have attached the before/after screenshot), is there any way to fix this problem in 1.0? The resolution of my screen is 1366x768.
The main difference is that we updated our windowing toolkit from gtk2 to gtk3, which brought a new default theme with it.
In the upcoming Inkscape 1.1 you should be able to use the "Minwaita" theme to get some of the space back. You can test the release candidate if you want: https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.1/?latest=1
