Beginners' Questions Wrong colors when importing SVG

In the left side I opened each SVG, exported then as PNGs, and then imported these PNGs back into the document (my workaround). In the right side are the original SVGs from Microsoft Office icons. They have wrong colors, and I can't figure out what's wrong. When I export them to PNG or save the document as PDF or anything else, the colors keep wrong. It's weird, it's as if the icons SVGs traded colors with one another, both the Word and Excel icons kind of "inherited" some of the PowerPoint icon's colors, and Word has a green stripe from Excel as well. This happened before to me when importing other SVGs. Is this a bug? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wasn't aware ico files or ico extracted from .exe files contained vector or SVG data.

They are usually just some version of .bmp or .png.

Would be useful to know the source, or how these icons were produced.

If someone has made these icons themselves, are the colours due to inherited attributes in any groups that are present ?

The source for the icons is this Dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/94kq7dtaqx3spya/NewDesign_Office365_app_icon_package.zip?dl=0

Months ago when I was still using Illustrator, I never had problems opening the SVGs, and these are not the only ones that I had this wrong colors issue.

What solved the issue for me was importing the PDF versions instead, but the problem persists with the SVGs.

I've had a look at the SVG file code.

The are SVG files. However some paths contain base64 encoded PNG images and some path statements reference classes contained in a <style> section.

If you select all, then paste to a new blank svg document.

I also removed the white background, but you may wish to add one.

Then use Ctrl+Shift+R to fit the page to the contents and save as a new filename it should make the fills inline and hopefully solve the problem.
