Program crashes too often.. I'm in windows 10. I tried to find a file in autosave. All the videos say "look in preferences, input/output and there you will find"autosave". I cannot find that in version 1.2.
I read the postin about avoiding crashes by on running inksape wiht some script, but I need simpler directions. Why does it not install this way?
That is great. but where are the autosaved files? n the previous version, when you went to prefereces/input/autosave.it gave you the path. But that route in not available. Where are the autorsave files, please
Did find the location on my UM22.04 is also shown in Preferences / System / Temporary Files but is set on the Autosave screen. On linux the file name is case sensitive. For example I can create two files on my Desktop. One named a and the other named A. Don't remember if Windows was different.
I don't think anyone has answered my query, other that to refer me to a function that is the previous version but not in the latest version.
.
.IN THE NEWEST VERSION OF INSCAPE THE "Input/output" does not, repeat does not include the option of "autosave." Where are autosave files in my windows 10 PC, latest version of inkscape?
This is screenshot of the latest version on windows:
That makes THREE screenshots showing the location of the autosave. As stated earlier, the TRIANGLE needs to be clicked to expand the Input/Output group, just like most hierarchical directories.
Try posting a screenshot of the Preferences>Input/Output by clicking on the paperclip below the reply area, if you still need help.
