Hi, I'm writing a little documentation and stumbled upon this option inside the Text menu that doesn't seem to do anything. The tool tip isn't much of help.
SVG text is continuously evolving, and not all renderers (programs/browsers that can display SVG content) support all text features. Convert to text will remove advanced text features to allow simple renderers to display the text. This is generally a one-way conversion... text that has been converted cannot be made into an advanced-feature type ( excepting undo).

So, what Convert to text does???

So, the "result" is not visible, only on one of those renderers incapable of showing the special text, right?
Correct.
