layer "Corset" is above layer "Body" and overlaps it. Ok

But layer Shoes is above the layer "Corset" but it does not overlaps the main body.

Expected behaviour: Hoof parts that are under Shoes are covered by Shoes and are not visible

Actual behaviour: Hoof parts that are under Shoes are still visible. Why?

The shoe objects have transparency/partial opacity.

Please explore the Tutorials in Inkscape's Help menu. Many of these fundamental concepts of objects, fill/stroke, etc.
