Just ordered a Cricut machine and am waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime have downloaded Inkscape and have a question:
I have been using CorelDraw for many years to create model airplane plans. However, my version of the program won't run on the Windoze 10 machine, it is on my XP computer. I would like to make a drawing from scratch on Inkscape on the newer Windows 10 machine and avoid having to convert from .cdr to svg. That requires a "sneakernet" transfer using a thumb drive.
One Coreldraw feature that is useful is “Blend.” You can draw ribs for a tapered wing by creating a root rib and a tip rib, then “blend” them to make the intermediate ribs. You select how many “steps” and the program gives you a set of ribs. Or for a fuselage you can create bulkheads that transition from say, a circular nose section to a rounded rectangle and have the stringers fair nicely.
Is there a similar feature in Inkscape? Or do I have to transfer the drawing from CorelDraw? I would like to do an original drawing completely in Inkscape to transition from CorelDraw and avoid needing to use two computers, etc.

please search for "Interpolation" and or "interpolate between paths".
