I am working on an advertisment for my business. I am wanting to put "Text/Phone but when I type the / I get "Available in Full Version" in place of the /. I am not sure what I need to do. I just updated my software to the recent version. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

That doesn't sound like Inkscape at all... Please provide the details.

Attached is a test file that I did. I tried to type a random series of numbers with a dash and I get the Available in Full Version. Not sure why, I don't remember having this trouble with Inkscape before but it's been awhile since I used it.

    Thanks

    File looks ok.

Ok since you upgraded from an earlier version, I'd first try resetting the preferences.

If that doesn't help, please provide the system info described here: https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/get-good-answers-here/

That has nothing to do with Inkscape. It's a font thing. There are fonts that offer limited free versions. If you like that font, what you can do is to change that particular character for another font.

So I reset the prefrences, closed the program Inkscape and restarted. I still have the same issue. I am running a Windows 10 64 bit Laptop, downloaded the exe Inkscape file. The laptop is the same one I used a couple years ago when I first started Inkscape.

Let me know if you need anything else.

    Thanks

Ok, the font makes sense as I did download that style from 1001fonts. Maybe I missed something and that font was not 100% free. I will try a different font and see what I get.

    Thanks

Seems Marcos has the solution above.  If I want that font, I pony up, but plenty of free fonts are available on sites like Google fonts and dafont.
