I am working to create some Pilot Lights in different colors than come standard. (Red,Green). I have a blue that I am working to make an on and off. This pilot light is needing to act like a LED bulb, so I seem to have a good indication of off, but the on using gradients and the correct brightness seems to be failing me. I tried using the Fluorescene, but I never saw where the adjustments were. I then found brilliance but I couldnt see my changes work. I have been locate pushbutton, push button or pilot light using the search feature of the forum. Thank you for any ideas you may have.
It's not clear what you're trying to achieve. Do you have an image you can share with us? If possible, I would avoid using filters (brighness, fluorescence, etc.) to change colours. It's simpler to use the Fill and Stroke dialog, perhaps like this...
Thank you for the reply. I only have a picture of them off at the moment. I like what you are showing, but I was wanting a more "LED" like appearance. So the dark OFF is good, but the ON I was wanted a brighter like a LED behind it. I am trying to attach an off pic of the pilot lights. Sorry for the small picture.

Something like this?
Yes, that is great. Would you mind explaining how to get to that? I would rather learn so I can make more of different colors. thank you
Here is what I have made so far. When I put them into my HMI they are not really showing up like I want them to.
This yellow doesnt seem to have the same effect as the other two.
If you right click on the image and save it, you can open it in Inkscape and see how it was done.
Got it. More layers. I was trying to accomplish it all at once. Thank you again.
