In an .svg image I have multiple objects but I want to save only one object as a .svg file.
If I do 'Save as' as I usually do, I don't get the option to save only the selected object.
While if I do 'Export', I get the option 'Export selected only', which is what I need.
I wonder if there is any difference if I use 'Export' in place of 'Save as'.
I want to save the file as a file to be later edited.
Thank you
If you choose "Inkscape SVG" in the select box in Export panel, yes you will be able to edit it later with Inkscape. With Save As you're saving the whole document (you can not choose to save only a part of it).
Hello. In 1.4 is there an option to do compression before exporting to tiff? Greetings.
These are the options for ".tiff" export, but none of these are compression algorithms like PackBits or LZW afaik.
Very comprehensive answer. Thank you.
