if i put a 5 px outline to a shape, the status bar displays in mm (1,32)?
(si je mets un contour de 5 px à une forme à partir du panneau "fond_couleurs" ,la barre d'état affiche en mm (1,32)?)
Right click on the Status bar indicator for controls.
[right-click] on stroke width in the status bar to choose a line thickness and unit of measurement

Great tip! What I usually do is click on the contour value in the bottom bar and Inkscape opens the dialog for me in the right corner.
