Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am very new at this. I figured out how to get text to curve around the top of a circle by selecting both and selecting Text then select Put on Path. The text lines op on the outside of the circle and is curved to match the circle.
Now my question is, how do I get the text to sit on the bottom of the inside of the circle and follow the curve, in a sense the text would look like a smile.
Put your text on the circle as you've mentioned above. The text will go to the outside of the circle (and you can rotate the circle until it's at the top).
Now, with the circle selected, go to the Path menu, and select 'Reverse'. This should put the text inside the circle.

Just make sure that the circle object has been converted to a PATH with the "OBJECT TO PATH Shift+Ctrl+C" onthe Path menu, otherwise it wont work.
