I just bought a laser engraving machine and Google pointed me to Inkscape for editing and creating vector files to use on the laser. I'm very much a beginner and I'm working through some tutorial videos I found on YouTube by TJ Free. In his lesson no 6 on text and fonts (https://youtu.be/W9y_D90L8Jo) he shows how to left or right or center justify text. I'm using Inkscape 1.1 and the options for justify text don't appear in the "Text and Font" menu like in the video.
My Google, YouTube searches searches as well as the search on this forum has not answered my question. How can I justify text in version 1.1? Any help will be appreciated.

Right under your nose I guess:
The text and font dialog does not have the range of options as the Tool Controls for the text tool.

Note that the controls may now be on the right, left or on top.
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your help.
