Would it be possible to put a few words on the account>profile> avi upload area to indicate what shape/size can be put for the profile? I initially did mine as square and see that it's cut off to be round (now seeing more avis today that are round). It'd be helpful to have a couple words there for newbies or you may get an overload of inquiries as people start coming over... (example, avi is round 400x400). thanks.

Yeah, sometimes I don't understand the difference between something being a bug or a feature request. In this case, I'm guessing because that's a valid request to have the size requirements noted, and they aren't. Made report

The forum avitar is round, but the main site is square. But it's a valid bug report, which should be submitted to https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape-web/issues
