I have a problem that I can't fix and it's driving me crazy. I use Inkscape to draw cutting file for my CO2 laser. I need to export in DXF because it doesn't read svg. The problem is that each time I export it, all my paths are exploded into thousand of small paths, which is impossible to use on the cutter.
Do you know why it does this and more important, how to fix it ?
Not sure how to help as it works here so far as described above. Can you upload an example Inkscape SVG? I can export to DXF/R14/R18 for you to check on your machinery.

Try this advanced setting on DXF/R14: it won´t draw one continuous line but will maintain curvatures from node-to-node.
It doesn't work, the drawing just disappeared.
