Hello! I need to create a fixed-width offset (and inset) for objects. The width or thickness of the offset needs to remain 6.35mm regardless of how big or small I scale the original object. Can this be done in Inkscape? If so, how? Thank you!
I think this would need to be done using the Live Path Offset. But probably, individual object by object, not as a group.
Try set up Preferences/Behavior/Steps, parameter Inset/outset by:.
